In addition to the FundX Upgrader Funds, there are nine FundX Upgrader Fund Investor Models. The models combine two or more of the FundX Upgrader Funds so you get a portfolio that's right for your particular investment goals.
While we believe the four original FundX Upgrader Funds meet the needs of many investors and can be complete portfolios of mutual funds on their own, we want investors to have the ability to customize the risk and potential reward of their Upgrading portfolios.
When you invest in a FundX Upgrader Fund Investor Model, your portfolio is automatically rebalanced back to the original allocations so you don't take on more risk than you initially intended.
Our Investor Questionnaire can guide to you a fund or an Investor Model that may be right for you. It considers the time you plan to be invested and your tolerance for risk.
It may also help you to know the potential risk and reward trade off for each model and each of the single fund solutions. In The Upgrader, you'll find returns for the trailing quarter, year and since inception, as well as maximum drawdowns. Maximum drawdown is the worst "peak to trough" loss over any consecutive time frame.

|
|
Single fund solution |
FUNDX, a single fund solution for growth investors, is similar to the Monthly Upgrader Portfolio in the NoLoad FundX newsletter. It is fully invested in equities with limited exposure to speculative equity funds.
The G1 and G2 models are comprised primarily of core growth funds with a limited exposure to income-oriented funds with an aim of dampening risk.

* The allocations for these models changed as of January 1, 2008. Previously, these models included the FundX Conservative Upgrader Fund (RELAX).
Direct shareholders can have their portfolio rebalanced automatically each quarter for free. Call 866-455-3863 and ask to have your account assigned to one of these nine pre-designated models.
All of these options involve some risk of principal loss. Depending on your goals, time frame, and personal inclination toward risk, you may find an option that is right for you, or for a subset of your overall investments. Consult an investment advisor for advice and information on your particular situation. Neither the Fund nor any of its representatives may give investment advice.
